Woke up, quick breakfast, got to school and bummed around on the computer until the shuttle left with the other Americans, David Johnston, his two sisters, Lorna (his secretary), the Swiss girls, and Bernard drove.
It was...interesting.
First we had to drop DJ off somewhere. We got lost finding that. Then we found it and got lost finding the Parliament place. Then when parking, the car park had a clearance of 2 meters and the van is about 2 meters. Yet still we went on. We ended up slightly scraping the top of the van and barely getting the side going down. Then we all jammed into the elevator and found Reverend Gordon Moyes and sat in a room to eat cookies and juice. He gave us an overview of the government which is a lot like USA because both are British colonies. We got a tour of the place and it was mostly like ours at home.
When leaving, we bent some guard protecting electrical wires in the car park...exciting. And we drove back home after that. I went online until dinner which was stir fry. Last night before bed I flipped through e-copies of a magazine I get. Convenient! Before I thought it was a hassle and I'd rather have the print copy. I guess it does come in handy.
Tomorrow I'm planning on getting student rush tickets to see the comedy play, The Narcissist at the Opera House. Hope it's not sold out!
The dollar is .65 now! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I got my absentee ballot in the mail today! Whoo!
