Yum Cha!

That means "drink tea" in Chinese. Or in Malaysian, "go out and be social." I think. In Melbourne it means "eat dim sum." I think. It's what I was told so yeah.

It was the name of the restaurant we (a group of above 6-7) went to today. Unlike anything I've ever experienced. To recap my day before going there, I woke up, had a piece of toast, and left.

In the middle of the table there was a round...spinning board. The people that worked there pushed carts with a bunch of different Chinese food and offered it to us. If we said no, they went to other tables or showed us the other stuff on their carts. If we said yes, they'd put it on our spinning thing and stamp a food card to tally up the cost at the end. We asked for some stuff in particular and they actually made fried calamari for us which was great.

It was nice being in a big group because we could split the bill and try a little bit of everything. I think I literally tried every single thing we had. If not, I only missed 1 or 2 things in all. I loved 95% of it, and the rest wasn't hard to stomach either. I used chopsticks as much as I could. I need more practice.

After that, some of us went to the mall and the others went home I think. I was in the mall group since I needed a notebook, gluestick, and postcards/stamps. I didn't get a notebook, but oh well, I got the other stuff. Yes, I finally have post cards for people. They were ridiculously expensive, so treasure them.

After that, we went home. I read a bit, took a nap, had dinner (sausages in huge buns that similar to hot dogs, and salad), and watched a couple movies. Now it's super late and I'm going to bed. Cheers!

The round spinny board is called a 'Lazy Susan'. :)
