Sleeping In Is Fun

Today I slept in because it's Thursday and I have class at 2. I caught 2 buses to school. After the first one, I met up with ASC students which was cool! Quite a rare happenstance too. One was in my class and one I've talked to before, but this time I met him. We got to school and I dropped my book off at the library. After that I had class which was ok. Then I caught the shuttle back home and had dinner. Tonight we had beef and onion stir fry over rice, along with a mixture of veggies to also put over rice. Corn, carrots, broccoli, peas, and probably more were involved. After that I went in my room and eventually went into the common room with my laptop. The internet is slow in my own room and I enjoy the company of random people in the common room. We watched Equilibrium with Christian Bale and I liked it. Now Stargate is on (DVD) and I'm up rather late since I don't have class tomorrow. Although I am excited since a group of us are going to Yum Cha (in Chinese that means "drink tea") which is a Chinese restaurant of some sorts and I've been told it's great. Looking forward to that.

I've been converting movies to iPod format now that I found a free and easy way to do it. So I will have stuff to do while on the shuttle, train, bus, or what have you. I need a new iPod...hm...

I can't believe I forgot to mention the highlight of yesterday. I finally finished the ENTIRE Chronicles of Narnia! The plot twist in the last book...wow. Didn't see that coming! It was great. Now I will read my newest Halo book and then move onto thoroughly enjoying and drinking in Catch-22; my favourite book despite never finishing it.

I'm jamming to my new music. About 5 are Australian. One I got from youtube, someone made a song using tones from Windows 98 and XP (error noises, clicking, dings, etc) and it's amazing.

Cheers!

Tonight, I miss dessert and driving.

I have been keeping up with the medal totals via a Google thing which is pretty handy. I am sad that China has over double USA's gold medals though.

P.S. We have our first real excursion planned! It will be at the end of September and we are flying a 3.5 hour flight to Ayers Rock and staying for 2 nights and 3 days. I'm looking forward to that!
