Travel Improvising

Today I had class at 2. I still hadn't figured out how to walk to the bus stop to get to Wesley, but I thought I could do it with the amount of time I gave myself. I left at 11:45ish. I went back and forth about 5 times on a road because I couldn't decide which was right. The one way took me where I knew was wrong, and the other way wasn't familiar and I didn't know when to turn off. As I was walking, my bag broke. It was an over the shoulder bag. So since I was near enough to home, I went back and swapped bags and made my load lighter. I wasted enough time and decided I'd just take a bus to the bus stop. That bus ended up being almost 10 minutes late. And too bad my unlimited weekly travel pass ran out yesterday. :( So I had to pay, and that was alright, since it wasn't a "prepay only" bus. So then I didn't know where my stop was, just that it was near a huge mall.

I saw the huge mall eventually and got off. But it was on the other side than I'm used to. So I started walking and I realized I could have stayed on the bus longer, but oh well. I got to another side that I'm not used to and saw the bus that I needed stopped there. Eventually the time passed for it to come. Weird. Then there was all these buses lined up and they were all out of service. No room for the new buses to pull up! So I saw the bus I needed to catch (I think) pass by. So much for waiting. So I finally got up and kept walking around the mall. Eventually I got to the bus stop I'm used to. I forgot that it was the stop that I usually take back home though.

I told the driver where I wanted to go and she said I needed to go around the corner to that stop, so I did. Luckily I didn't get on that one. So I waited around the corner, but there was no bus timetable, so that was weird. But I trusted her and it came soon. Got on that one and had to pay again. Then I made it to school fine after that, and with a few minutes to spare.

I had class and that was fine. Then went home on the shuttle which was nice. Dinner was later and I caught some of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I really hope they fix the internet tomorrow.

What I'm doing tomorrow is still up in the air...sorta...we'll see. ^_^
