Back and Forth

Today was of the same template of other days I've had. But different.

I was woken up by traffic early as usual, went back to bed until later as usual, ate breakfast as usual, and then went to UTS to pick up an orientation package which I've never done. Also with another person. But I've done that before. Although not the same person.

So we rode the train to downtown, got off and walked in the light rain downtown. Got to UTS and I had to wait in line forever. Finally got forms and info I mostly already knew, didn't need, along with a bit more actually vital stuff. I signed my soul away on one form and then we left. We walked around a bit and then went to Paddy's Market. That's a place under a mall where people set up shop and sell their things. I guess you can bargain there. We looked for postcards. Didn't find any, by the way.

Oh, right before we went in, we went to Chinatown which is right nearby. We had some hot buns with bbq pork inside. Yuuuuum. After Paddy's Market, we walked in more rain to a bus stop full of people and crammed into a bus on it's way to Wesley. Both of us had to sort things out with our schedule.

I planned on taking a counseling course to fill in Theater History which got shifted to Thursdays...during a time I already have a class. (apparently by two girls from Bethel, bummer) I talked to the teacher on the phone (and I also met him after landing at the airport--he's from Colorado) and he convinced me not to take it because it was very rigorous and meant for post-graduates. No thank you. So back to the drawing board, I still have no idea what class to take.

Then we caught the shuttle back to the house. Then dinner, spaghetti. Then I had to help clean up afterwords. Then I walked to a movie rental place with 2 other guys. They have a deal $7 for 7 movies. So we did that and watched 3 in a row just now. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (I feel horrible, I promised them a good movie and it turns out it's not as great as I remember), then Epic Movie (not my choice and it had it's moments, but eh overall), and then Zorro (the first one). And now I am here.

About to pass out. Cheers...
