Uluru DAY THREE!

The night before, we found out from DJ that we were going to do a sunrise thing at the rock. We had to get up at 4am for it. He found out it was more of what we did on Day 2. He decided not to go and asked if we wanted to skip it too. We all overwhelmingly said we'd rather sleep in more. We spent a non-refundable $95 on it though. Sad, bummer.

So I got about 10 hours of wonderful sleep that night. The night before the Ukrainian guy told Cameron not to turn the A/C too high (I assume so he could sleep without so much noise) so it was very hard to sleep. I hardly got any because I was so hot in bed. This night however, we already had it full blast and they didn't mention it so we just left it the same. I think the sleep was worth it.

We did breakfast again without the walking around, and Cameron decided to stay sleeping. I walked over and the girls were late again. We met up after I went to the supermarket with DJ and his wife though. Muffin, banana, apple, pineapple juice, and 1/4th of DJ's sandwich thing...yum.

After that I went back and packed up and checked out. Towels needed a $20 deposit that you'd get back after returning. I asked for one the first night and the guy said not to worry about it. Sweet. I also went souvenir shopping one day. After checking out, I waited with Cameron in the lobby for the shuttle to the airport. Angela joined us later on. Sonja and Jenny went swimming I think. It came and still DJ and his wife weren't with us. We went on and called them. I guess they weren't ready in time. We got to the airport and waited for them. They got on the next shuttle. We played cards in the meantime. They got there and we did the whole thing of getting checked in. This time Angela was tested for explosives. DJ was asked if he spoke English too...I thought it was funny. We waited for the plane and then got on. Hancock played on the way home and I watched it all. Not bad but I won't buy it ever. It's an aeroplane and not airplane though. Funny.

They have these cool baggy things for your trash! Kinda fancy mesh actually. You eat your stuff and put the rubbish away in there. Easy.

We got picked up by Bernard (French speaker that runs the hostel/house with Mariange, his wife--both from Madagascar) even though he had a tough time getting in position with the van. Oh well. Then we brought DJ and his wife home and then us home. Watched Smallville, told everyone about our trip, put up all my pics that night.
