Day of Rest...and then some

Today I got work done! And watched Heroes and an episode of Smallville.

I also walked to Pizza Hut again with Alvin this time. Ahhhhh pizza is so amazing.

It kinda stinks. The weather is too gross to go to the beach. A lot of people are still gone for break since Monday is Labour Day and we have no school. I don't know where to go other than where I've already gone and that usually involves money.

I'll talk about Bernard (pronounced Ber-ned) and his driving. He drives the shuttle to school and back, and he runs the hostel/house with his wife Mariange.. He does not know how to accelerate at all. It's either pedal to the metal or break for the stop light ahead. Stop, go, stop, go. I won't miss that after I'm gone...

And here's a conversation today between a girl and Mariange. Kinda funny...

M.A.: "The girl is back from camp."
Girl: "Oh...what?"
M.A.: "The girl is back from camp."
Girl: "Oh...all of them?"
M.A.: "The girls are back from camp."
Girl: "Oh...cool."
M.A.: "No, I am askeeng yew."
Girl: "Oh...no, I haven't seen them."

I forgot to mention how stupid I was when I packed for the trip. First, I was emailed to pack "warm clothes" and I took clothes to keep me warm instead of cool. I misread and ended up packing only 1 pair of shorts and 1 t-shirt not for sleeping in. I ended up wearing the same clothes most of the time...oh well. I also didn't pack soap or shampoo since I thought the resort would have it. Wrong on that count too, but I found some. They had dispensers and most of them didn't work. Then I didn't remember to bring my flip flops. That was horrible, but I made due. It just brought down the trip a little in quality. But it was my fault really. Oh well. :)

I also had a dream last night. I dreamt I was home. But I think it was actually the library at school HERE and I felt like I was home. I was with my friends from home. And I had a scary feeling of being at home and realizing I wasn't done with my classes yet! Then I realized I was dreaming while dreaming...and I don't remember after that.
