Last night walking to the play...wow. I didn't mention it really, but we sped walked to Burwood to catch a bus the rest of the way. There was 4 of us, 2 girl dancers, Ish, and I. Those dancers are in top physical condition because they have to be. Ish must be used to walking tons down under. I nearly collapsed. Because running uses different muscles than speed walking, and because I don't speed walk EVER, I literally ran in place moving very slowly while they sped walked, just so it wouldn't hurt. Oh I could feel the burn and lactic acid was not kind to me last night. It's good for me though, yes. I'm not too sore even. Whew. It was truly killer.
I had Nutra-Grain for breakfast like always. Don't think we have that at home. It's not like Nutra Grain bars at all. I did laundry all day and it was tough because other people usually beat me to it. :( But I'm done. Maybe one last load tomorrow, but it's not urgent. Just towels and sheets. For dinner I had a pizza slab.
I was busy putting together my miniature library scene. Building a mini laptop is hard work! I hope it turns out tomorrow. It's still not done, I need to color it black tonight and tomorrow paste the keyboard and monitor on. I'm excited. I also need to put pages in my mini book. I still need to color that and tape it so it looks 3D (the binding). I need to take a few more pictures of carpet and get those to print tomorrow for my floor. Should be interesting tomorrow to see how it turns out.
I was also busy doing things to my webpage including this very awesome new button that goes to my blog:
(for obvious reasons the button does not work here)
Also, I found a sweet extension for Firefox. Say hello to my new homepage:
CLICK (if you want)
I learned how to do that effect in Photoshop these past few days. The whole "blurr, flipped upside down, and faded away to make it look like it's on glass" effect. I did the effect on the blue home icon, I didn't make the icon itself. I didn't do any of the Apple or Blog icon. I did the whole red vs. blue image. I didn't do the facebook one. I did the whole zatch.org image (my website--a bulletin board). I didn't do the twitter one. I didn't do any on the 2nd row at all. I did FreeRice.com and all of the ones to the right of it. Clicking on the icons take me to the site, of course. How cool is that?
Our next trip was going to be next weekend but apparently it's moved back because Cameron wanted to go to the symphony. Now it will be in October. Now what should I do this weekend? :P
