Started out swell, slept in, went to class. At the bus stop where I transfer, I stood up against the wall of the mall because the bus stop benches were full. I smelled something funny. I turned and noticed the wall was pretty dang spotless. I looked down and saw a nice paper sign.
Wet Paint
I checked to make sure my black shirt had no white on it. Luckily it didn't. I bet the paint just dried and the rest of the wall might've been wet still. After that I went on, luckily the bus came right away and normally I wait 10 minutes. And the bus that I caught to get there came literally right as I sat down at the bus stop! It was crazy, I almost missed it. I would have still made it to class on time probably though.
Class was good, I have a paper due next Friday in that one and I'm going tomorrow to spend the whole day in the library, since I have no classes.
After class, I went online a tiny bit before dinner which was stir fry over rice again.
Then upstairs Australian Idol was on. Ah their judges aren't as mean as Simon. I miss it. Then Nilli put on Waiting for Albrandi which is an Aussie film. I have seen bits and pieces before, but tihs time I saw most of it. It was good and emotional. After that we put on The Departed. I loooooove that movie. We were originally going to watch the first episode of LOST, but Vivian forgot them at home. Sad. Oh well.
I did not waste my time during this time though! I had a BLAST learning how to play GUITAR! Ashley (guy) taught me the three basic chords--G, C, and D. I am quite sure I have them memorized now. I just can't remember which is which yet. They used to be awkward but I have gotten it down. Now I need to work on switching my fingers up faster. Strumming isn't that hard, but I can get better. I learned the beginning of the AC-DC song "Thunderstruck" which is on just one string actually. I played an acoustic. I bet I could try an electric while I'm here too. I could totally do this (and hope to) beyond Australia. Who's gonna join my band?
All this exposure to Photoshop and guitar is getting me super excited! Too bad I'm not that way for my Theology classes. :P
