Morning Class and The Dark Knight

Woke up late, but still caught the shuttle to class on time. Class was good, I was a bit tired though. Afterwords, I took a bus and walked the rest of the way home with Langsoon. I finally got my quarterly travel pass today! It's a huge relief to have. After getting home, I took a nap until about dinner time.

Dinner was chicken and sauce over rice and corn chips, with sprouts.

Speed bumps here are usually different. Ours are short and quick, theirs are bricks laid out instead of pavement. The bricks' flat surface arcs and the speed bump spans about 20 of our speed bumps.

Mailboxes sometimes have "No Junk Mail" stickers on them. I'm not sure if they aren't allowed ANY junk mail at all, or if it's just private solicitors. I think just the latter, but still, we should try that.

I bummed around until we left for the Dark Knight. Turns out a bunch of people were busy and only 3 of us guys went. We were almost late. First we planned on not going since it was so late, but 20 minutes before the movie started, we got permission to borrow someone's van. So we rushed and took that. We didn't go the fastest route, but eventually got to the car park. (not a parking lot, a car park--that's what they call them...) Then we couldn't get the keys out. We called the guy that owns the van and he told us about the button you have to press at the same time. Weird. We finally got them and raced to the theater. Cheaper on Tuesdays, apparently.

Then we got there and saw a huge line. Finally it was our turn and one of them got popcorn. Then we got our tickets, again assigned seating, and the people ahead of us held up the ticket ripper person. Finally we got past and actually sat down before the credits rolled. I think it was a late start. The movie was just as good the second time around.

Came home, had a glass of Milo as a couple other people were watching The Relic (I think my first rated R movie ever seeing, by the way--horror) and I didn't care for it so now I'm in my room typing this, excited for class tomorrow at UTS. We're talking about Peter Pan!

Cheers!
