Hillsong Again

Today I was planning on going to the Korean church, but I felt too tired and I wouldn't have gotten anything out of it. I ended up doing a bunch of reading for class. I went to Hillsong at night and that was good.

I got stuff done and didn't sit around all day, which was good. But nothing really worth typing here and now I'm watching some Olympics. I have no idea how or why the scoring was changed for gymnastics. I don't think I want to know really.

Let's talk pronunciation differences. Specifically, the 'R' between the States and Australia.

USA: Water
Aussie: Watuh
USA: Idea
Aussie: Ideer (note: only sometimes, and it's very subtle, typing doesn't do it justice)
USA: Saw
Aussie: Sawr (note from above)
USA: Draw
Aussie: Drawr (note from above)
USA: Australia
Aussie: Australier (note from above)
USA: Yeaaaaaaaaaah (normally it's not overdrawn out, but for comparison I am typing it that way)
Aussie: Yea (it drops off before we really get going in our pronunciation)

It's very crazy, and amusing.

Tomorrow: Two photography classes! Whee! Gotta go to bed early...
