Today was really boring. Woke up semi early, had breakfast, wandered around the house, watched the end of a movie, had some lunch, took an hour nap, ate something before going to Hillsong.
There are two Hillsong churches (I think) and we went to the original. It's a humongous church in case you don't know. At my own church in Shakopee, I know we sing songs that Hillsong has written. The church itself is huge. The worship part was like a concert. Everyone jumping up and down, it was quite the sight to see. The speaker was great too. Next week they are having Jim Wallis (from the U.S.) speak.
The guy presenting the news of the church made a flub by saying Osama Barrack...that was funny and I hope not intentional.
One thing I forgot to mention about here is they have no Burger Kings. They have Mc Donald's, but no BK. Well, kinda. Their BK is called Hungry Jack's. Same logo, same font, same food, same everything. Apparently they used to be BK but changed awhile ago. Weird.
They also say "stuffed" a lot. I was told that's "pregnant" if you say "I'm stuffed." so don't say it after a meal. But someone else was talking about screwing up and he said "I'd be stuffed." so I think when we say 'screw up' they say 'stuff up' which is odd.
Class tomorrow, I'm nervous. Well not for class, but for UTS (University of Technology, Sydney). I have to be ready by 7:30. Blah. I have orientation for one class that starts next Wednesday, the 30th downtown. Then I have to probably leave early to get to Wesley Institute (where I'm taking my other classes) by 2pm for my first class. I hope it goes well, after that, I should be fine...I just hope I don't get lost.

Oh I get it! A blog is where you write stuff you hope other people will be interested in but then later find out that they don't.
Just kidding! Are you going to get the chance to go to my homeland of Edoras? I took a test once that said that's where I would live in Middle Earth.
And when I said "don't" I most certainly meant "aren't."
No, I don't think it was ever burger king here- There was some shop in Australia that was already called Burger Kings, like, some little burger shop. And Burger King couldn't have the name because they'd trademarked it so they had to change it for us. I think that's pretty awesome. It took me YEARS to figure out why Hungry Jacks had paper crowns!
lol 'stuffed' doesn't mean pregnant. It means exhausted or broken. "I'm stuffed!" after a long walk. or "That tv's stuffed!" or even "I really stuffed up"
We do say "I'm stuffed" after a meal as well, but instead of 'i'm stuffed full of food' it usually means more "I'm so full of food, I can no longer move and therefore am broken"
In South Australia we say 'heaps' a lot. "Oh that's heaps good!" or "I've seen that heaps!" it means "really" or "a lot". :D
