Moar Updates

I got most everything sorted out now. The computers are all synced and set to go. That took awhile. I've been playing video games since I missed them so much. I'm planning on going up to Bethel every Monday and sleeping over. I missed the Left 4 Dead (zombie game) demo online for the Xbox. Sad! I did get it when I got home on the computer though. But I only had 1 day left to play I guess, so now it doesn't even work. And I didn't play during the 1 day window. :(

I've been working a bit so it keeps me busy when I'm not settling myself, playing video games, or hanging out with my friends. I see my family too.

I downloaded Summer Heights High which is an amazing Aussie show I loved while there. Still trying to find Lano & Woodley though...hmm...

I still need to take in my TV to Best Buy since while I was gone, it developed lines in the pixels...hmm...at least I have the 4 year warranty. I just worry that I have to leave it there and I will be without a TV temporarily! Sad.

Updated my iPod so now it downloads podcasts without using a computer. Coooool.

Watched some Naruto tonight, up to 80 of 85!

Tomorrow I need to see Becknell and Katrina Chapman about transferring credits. Fun...

It's fun telling people about Australia at work.

I went to the school that had every art covered except for the one I am majoring in. Oh well, shows how stubborn and determined I am to get where I wanna go. Where I'll go next...not sure. I would rather go to somewhere different and see as much as I can than go to Australia over and over...

Notes I've forgotten to post about:

-On one of the last days while there, we watched a ventriloquist. Vivian thought it was a person backstage doing the voices and couldn't believe it was the guy with the microphone sorta moving his lips. Wow, hilarious!

-Near the end, food really got bad. Mariange started not supplying it. I didn't know why. Ash said she was taking it back and I didn't really believe him since it didn't make sense. Juice was never in the fridge any more. I missed it soooooooooo much towards the end. Then I went for bread to see only 2 endpieces left of a loaf. Dang! Mariange saw and told me she wasn't buying anymore since people were leaving. WHAT?! Only like 5 people out of 21 had left at this point, and she started taking the food away/not supplying it even earlier! How unfair...

-Vivian and I were helping Selina download music and explaining the difference between paying and not. Legal and illegal. Vivian called it...unlegal. Selina and I both cracked up and I couldn't figure out if Vivian knew it was because she made up a word or not...

-At one of the last meals I ate, I held a fork and knife, one in each hand. I was finally Australian. They all do this. I've never used a knife really except for cutting tough things. They use it in unison with their fork to eat, no matter what the food is. It's so weird. I did it without thinking at the end.

-I finally realized what "The Phantom Menace" actually stood for. Wow.

-Vivian's Chinese name (I think) is Lok Sang Tung. Alvin's is Ho Wei, I think. Something like that. Cool. Vivian was self-conscious about hers though, and wouldn't tell me. I saw it on her mail from the school. But when I told her I saw it, she denied it as her Chinese name and said it was something else. Hmm...oh well.

-Downloading Java (computer thing) gave me a headache in Australia. The port was blocked or something because it was an abroad connection. Now it's fine. Whew. I duno what they do though without it...
